About Basic 10+
Eligibility

Basic 10+ is a self-funded employer health insurance plan for businesses that wish to offer an affordable health insurance alternative to their employees that otherwise might not be able to access coverage.

Basic 10+ is a limited benefit plan, and as the name implies, the maximum coverage for the insured under this plan is $10,000 annually.

It is not designed to replace any major medical or comprehensive plan. Basic 10+ offers coverage for day to day medical expenses, doctor office visits, outpatient diagnostic laboratory and x-ray’s, minor surgery, inpatient hospital benefits, and accident coverage. It is generally available to both employees and their dependents. When dependent coverage is offered, each dependent has their own $10,000 annual benefit. There is a prescription drug plan included with Basic 10+.

As with most medical plans, there are some co-pays and deductibles, and depending on plan design. Let us with with you to design a plan that meets your company's needs.
